At Therapeutic Blueprint, we believe every child’s story deserves to be heard, honoured, and understood. That’s why we’re thrilled to invite you to The Power of Story: Life Story Workshop – a new, interactive training designed to give carers the tools they need to bring life story work into everyday family life.
Whether you’re a Kinship Carer, SGO Carer, Foster Carer, Social Worker or Children's Residential Staff, this hands-on session is crafted to help you connect with the young people in your care in ways that are both meaningful and healing.
What You Can Expect:
During this 4-hour workshop, we’ll explore the transformative impact of life story work and look at how it helps children make sense of their experiences, build resilience, and express their emotions safely and creatively.
What We Will Cover:
What life story work is and why it matters
How to introduce and embed life story themes at home
Tools and activities that promote voice, connection, and emotional understanding
Aligning practice with national and local guidance
Understanding life story from the child’s perspective
This workshop goes beyond theory, it’s a practical and empowering experience, filled with interactive resources and ideas you can start using straight away.
