OUR TEAM
Hannah Dobbs
Director
For the past 19 years, Hannah has been dedicated to supporting children in care, taking on a range of roles, including management and senior leadership positions. Her journey started in the USA, where she developed a strong passion for supporting children and the staff around them. After returning home, she continued working with children in various social care settings, with a key focus on children's residential families and schools but also fostering and adoption. Hannah still frequently travels to the USA to work in children's summer camps. Hannah is especially passionate about training parents, carers, and professionals to understand developmental trauma and how to provide therapeutic parenting, with a key focus around the impact of cultural diversity within this. She also continues to do direct work with children in multiple settings.

Dr Eleanor Brown
Clinical Director
Eleanor is a Clinical Psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience working with children in care with a key focus on children in residential and adoptive families. Eleanor specialises in supporting people to understand further the impact of developmental trauma and how it may influence the thoughts, feelings and behaviour of those who have experienced it.

Pippa Trueman
Therapeutic Social Worker
Pippa is an Independent Social Worker with 30+ years in Children's Social Care spanning various roles, specialising in Adoption, Fostering, and Kinship Care since 2013. Utilizing DDP Practice and as a Therapeutic Life Story Practitioner, she offers training and therapeutic parenting support. Her passion lies in directly engaging with children, adults, and networks to understand and address the impact of their experiences on daily life.

Sonny Lanca
Associate Trainer
Sonny is an Associate Lecturer of Psychology at the University of Worcester, having an undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology and recently finishing a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology. His previous work has been focused on supporting young people diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Condition to access mainstream education. However, his interests are based on clinical research with a biological focus and exploring how children’s mental health services can be improved.

Kiran Kalirai
Therapeutic Social Worker / Trainee Play Therapist
Kiran has 20 years of experience working with children and families in safeguarding roles. She has served as a Social Worker, Senior Practitioner, and Team Manager in various Local Authority Child Protection Teams, as well as working with CAMHS, CAFCASS, and supervising Foster Carers for Looked After Children. Kiran's passion lies in therapeutic work with children, integrating this approach into all her roles. For the past 7 years, she has been an Independent Social Worker with extensive knowledge of Local Authorities. Currently, Kiran is training to become a Qualified Play Therapist to further enhance her therapeutic skills with children.
